FRANKFURT (MNI) – The German federal government will auction about
E6 billion in the top-up of its June 2012 0.50% coupon two-year notes
(Schatzanweisungen) on June 9, the Bundesbank confirmed Tuesday.

The official tender will be made on Tuesday, June 8. Bids are due
by 0900 GMT the following day, with results of the allocation to be
announced shortly thereafter.

The issue matures on June 15, 2012. Next week’s auction will bring
total volume of this security to E13 billion.

The federal government plans to top up this security by E6 billion
once more on June 30.
