BRUSSELS (MNI) – Senior EU Commission official Marco Buti said that
the publication of the bank stress tests “should mark a turning point,
showing European banks are resilient to severe conditions”.
“What has been done today is going to boost confidence,” he
added.
But Buti conceded that the tests had also shown “some pockets of
vulnerability”.
