BOE’s King: Believes QE measures will work

Bank of England Mervyn King, giving a tv interview, has said that the World economy has turned down very rapidly since last autumn, but that he feels the quantitative easing measures to be undertaken by the bank will work. King says the bank needs to continue to increase the supply of money to help stimulate the economy and bring about eventual recovery.
