haha Gerry, indeed. I wouldn’t be surprised if they try to hammer the pound before christmass. we’ll see.
thanks Adje
Gerry, you will have to reign in Mervin King to get this done.
yes, pipsquanderer, he and the old lady have done an admirable job keeping sterling weak and UK goods competitive…..
Question is, what UK goods, huh.
So now Darling’s saying keeping fiscal stimulus is absolutely vital.

And stress tests, stress tests – if they’re gonna waste money on pointless exercises, then try asking joe public.
Must be all those British cars we sell abroad. Everyone wants a morgan.
Does that mean the waiting list’s even longer then?
And hey, the french love our cheeses, can’t beat a nice bit of chedder or stilton
Ok ok.
So what else we got apart from Morgans and cheese
what else…ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
. you know the guy i mentioned to you at PWC. i always remember him putting his name on the morgan waiting list when he was 14. when he got delivery (can’t remember when) he promptly put his name down for another one. just plain greedy.
Would that be with his pwc car allowance?
