  • Greece considering raising average real retirement age to 63 from 61 by 2015.

Retirement age 61 at present!!!!  No wonder they got problems.

    whow 61 only! many countries are closing in to 70 and greece still lower 60’s.
    I agree gerry, no wonder they have problems.

    The Greeks employees work more than the average European, and are paid the lowest salary of 748 Euro

    what the 61 retirement age is wrong Jim? what is the retirement age?

    I tought the retirement age was lower than 63, but actually the average retirement age is 65, they’re working just normal.

    I’ll tell you whats wrong is when someone retires at 50 then gets another job under the table and pays to taxes

    plus most greeks dont work, but sit around and chain smoke and drink coffee all day. Much like I am doing right now…
