Unless I’ve missed something, it seems that London dealers will be getting off their commuter trains without an overly bearish GBP mindset. The UK press is concentrating on the upcoming election and on European woes. I have short term technical support/resistance levels in the cable at 1.5275/1.5380 with 1.5180/1.5425 outside of there.

Sean, it’s about 1:00 pm here in China right now and I have to teach in 20 minutes, so I won’t be around when Gerry roars onto the website. Nonetheless, could you pass onto him (and perhaps Jamie) that yesterday’s anti-female species comments that were posted repeatedly by various members of your reading public really strike the wrong note with women, such as myself (who, among other things, is a senior Graduate School of Business professor at a major university and has been teaching “international capital markets” for a living, since 1982.)
Understood Solange, I’ll pass your comments on to him. We do try our best to ensure that no inappropriate comments pass through.
