Darling drives cable to the brink

Darling’s comments over the weekend that the UK economy faces its worst crisis in 60 years sent cable within pips of 1.80 today. Protection of very large barriers is helping slow the decline.  Another drop in home prices contributes to the crisis atmosphere.  1.7860 is next support if 1.80 gives way.

Bravado in the face of death? 1.7860 met and I’ve added to my long here even though Sterling is being put to the sword tonight. I may sound cavalier but seeing that the eggheads over at CERN are hell bent on finding something that can’t be seen yet has a name which may end up unleashing a force so powerful that it sucks the entire earth into a tiny spot no bigger than a pinhead sometime on the 10th inst. then you can see where I’m coming from, can’t you?
