…the US runs a deficit for the month of April. As Any American taxpayer knows, April 15 is tax day. Traditionally the government runs a large April surplus. Last April, Uncle Sam took in $158 bln more than it spent. This year we ran a $21 bln deficit. This is the first April deficit since 1983.
