Dollar finds some friends

The Dollar is finding some support in an otherwise lacklustre afternoon’s trading session. The lack of gains above 1.4340 in Eur/Usd has seen some weak longs jump ship, while Cable has tripped a few light stops on the break of  1.6440.  1.4295 should limit Eur/Usd losses, but a break below there would bring 1.4260 back into play.

EUR/USD is a “lost soul” to me…rather focus on “the music” in other pairs…there have been lots of good suggestions from, e.g. Mike M, Blackday…

Very true, saferanger. That’s the beauty of trading for yourself. You can switch to whatever pair or instrument you see fit. Most interbank traders are hemmed in by having to trade one currency pair.

Hey Mark, they are really poor fellas in that case…glad NOT to be bound…so: Can someone please unplug those damn algo-machines to stop buying EUR/USD and we can have a proper consolidation as for the sake of the traders of this pair!

Hey DC, I’m short too my target at 4250, I believe it’ll come back to that range, my charts on the 4h and 1h suggesting we have hit the top at around 4350, and will be retracing southwards. Although If I’m wrong this is just a minor retrace of a big bullish move and we’ll see 4400 this week.
