Stops triggered above .8920 in AUD/USD

The well publicised trailing stops above .8920 in the AUD/USD were easy pickings for the stop-loss professionals in early Asia. The pair traded to about 30 so far but dealers also say that offers around .8940/50 are fairly solid and should cap at least until the entire market is open. EUR/USD is trading at 1.4330, USD/JPY at 90.40 and cable at 1.6155.

    Did this actually happen? I haven’t seen the price move past .8920 yet.

    The interbank market traded to a high above 8935 this morning, that was before the retail mkt opened.
