Feldstein says lack of 2010 stimulus is a negative

Harvard University Economics Professor, Martin Feldstein said the US econimic growth may falter because of a lack of stimulus seen for the year ahead. He said he sees difficulties in a robust recovery with the real estate market depressed.

    Prof Feldstein is a good man, but sometimes he misses details. According to the CBO, about three quarters of the stimulus plan has yet to be spent.

    Does anyone really think that Obama is not going to time the stimulus funds to give maximum aid to the election cycle? Of course, given that this is the same Prof Feldstein who served on AIG Financial Products’ board for a good 20 years one can imagine that some details might escape him…
