Which stories are likely to influence the early European market?

- Stories like this one that Gerry posted earlier will probably weigh on the GBP in early European trade
- G7: Trichet sounded optimistic on Greece meeting new targets- could be EUR positive but market is still sceptical
- Modest rally in the Toyota share price after apology and Prius recall news. Counter-intuitively, this might see the JPY crosses rally a little as it’s another uncertainty which is easing.
- The AUD might see some light pressure after news that the Australian government is withdrawing it’s bank guarantee. On thepositive side for the AUD, technical accounts will be mildly bullish after the 200-day MA and chart support at the same .8570/75 level were tested and corroborated.
Morning Sean,
I wonder what you think about EUR/JPY given the idea tht Friday real money was selling it.
Morning Adje. Barriers at 120 and stale longs hoping to get out above 124- I would guess that will be the range for a few days
