Famous last words: No housing bubble

Could BOC Deputy Governor Jenkins be making the same mistake as Greenspan and Bernanke, in downplaying the existence of a housing bubble. He says he would certainly not say we are looking at a housing bubble. I hope for Canada’s sake he’s right…

    Not unless Obama’s green tech revolution becomes reality and the tar sands of alberta become worthless… America with an energy policy could rock a few boats. Then again, Obama didn’t blow up the banks when he had the chance- I don’t think he has a revolutionary impulse.

    OH CANADA!!!
    Well, I am Canadian from Toronto. homes rice did fall slightly in last 2 years. Canadian banks have always had a strict mortgage approvals procedures…Even with increasing unemployment, foreclosures still low!!!
    I have been wishing for a homes price crush by at least 40% at least to buy my first home but I am disappointed so far. I still wishing…
