The IMF welcomes the substantial fiscal measures announced by Greece today and says implementation will be crucial.

Greece should soon implement significant plans to boost productivity and growth. (Easier said than done…)

The IMF stands ready to support Greece’s plans through technical assistance.

if greece gets money from imf, the general outcome has two variants:

    a) emu changes it’s rules
    b) emu disappears over time.

i kinda hope greece asks help from imf. emu rules are dum, and eu is dummer. either one parliament one country one currency or 27 parliaments, 27 countries 27 currencies. there’s no room in the middle.

I don’t recall anyone let alone the Greeks, asking what the hell the IMF thinks, yet they just voice their unsolicited opinion, just like Soros, err, I mean the devil.
