Any EU bail-out of Greece must be ratified by German law

This is something we’ve been saying for weeks now and AEP over at the UK Telegraph now reports the same. Any bail-out package could spell constitutional challenges in Karlsruhe against the EUR itself.

    Lies and more damn lies: turns out the Greeks sugarcoated their statistics by including prostitution, black-market trade and gambling in the calculation of economic output. As a result, GDP rose by a stunning 25 percent in 2006, and the deficit dropped to 0.1 percent under the maximum allowable limit. Haha…

    Growth’s growth I guess. If the market rallies on this, is Greece allowed to ask “Can I get a Yeah-Uh!?” …@Hart There’s some trail mix in it for ya if you feel like selling some yards of Loonie. Then I can head to the Saloon with Miki.
