Merkel: Must accelerate negotiations

Nothing new from Merkel so far.

  • Negotiations with Greece must be accelerated
  • Hope they can be concluded in coming days.
  • This is about the stability of the euro zone.
  • Greece must agree the plan to restore stability.

Strauss-Kahn says we need to move fast because the situation is serious and that the future of the euro zone is at stake.

The market certainly thinks so…

EUR/USD trades at 1.3205.
