I was in the Chinese port city of Dalian two weeks ago visiting family. Coincidentally, the dear leader himself was present in the city (arrived via armored train — he’s terrified of flying), and was out touring the industrial areas while I was on my way to a shopping mall. the government shut down all the major roads and I spent the better part of the day in a hot taxi…traffic was completely shut down.

I must say, kim jong il really knows how to rub everybody the wrong way…those nutty norks
