To gauge market reaction to NFP release, you will need to look at usdchf. If market is satified with NFP figures, you shall see a rally in usdchf. By the way, the myth that USDJPY is the best pair to trade for news is a
USDJPY is not actually the best pair to news trade. It is USDCHF and chfjpy. If market likes NFP results USDCHF will spike and chfjpy will tank.
