This is the first such study that I’ve seen, where economists from Nomura and ING attempt to forecast what would happen to currencies in the event of a EUR break-up.

    And this is exactly why i predict a major Euro rally in 2012 into the breakup of the Euro and the Union. The effect of devaluation will be quiet different in each country and i dont think that the political spectrum will allow that to happen with a Euro reaching parity, it will be the opposite. Euro will print a new High in 2012. Same goes for Euro Cable.
