CANADA DATA: Avery Shenfeld of CIBC World Markets says a strong November
Canadian jobs datasets (+59k vs CIBC’s +5k and consensus at +7.5K, unemployment
rate at 7.2% vs CIBC 7.5% and consensus at 7.4%) “suggests that the Q3 economic
slumber did not portend something worse for the final trimester of the year” and
calls the data “a splash of good news that has been in short supply in recent
months.”
