Blackrock expects EUR/USD to fall

View Comments

  • US dollar undervalued, will appreciate versus euro
  • Bullish US dollar versus emerging markets
  • Hopeful for deal but serious differences remain
  • $1.4 trln is revenues cannot pass the House or the Senate

Must be bearish equities and bullish bonds in that case. Sounds like risk-off to me.

  1. This just means the end of the risk on/off scheme. Market becoming Growth sensitive.

  2. Fink was “100% all in bullish” on equities this morning on Bloomberg. Keep both sides covered lads, that way you’re never wrong…

  3. risk on/off is about to die in my opinion too.

    that being said…

“Bullish US dollar versus emerging markets” – fully agree; and commodities.
against euro – hmm. Ok, it’s undervalued, but, that’s the rate the bernank watches so…

  4. Jamie, can you publish this piece?

  5. they have been looking for 1.15 -1.10 eur since April and way before that.

  6. Where is this coming from? Like Nigel said, Fink the CEO of Blackrock was all like sp500 going to 1600 just a few hours ago. That is not bearish equities.

  7. Oh come on, do me a favour, surely only retail goes 100% all-in on anything.
Institutions, funds, professionals, whatever, they should hedge their exposure.

  8. With all these big guys on Street, Fink doesn’t give a shit for me.
Looks like something bigger than 100 pips fall is comming.

  9. Heey Trashhhey….I mean traci….What’s the problem ..we love ya
