A speech is coming up at 2100 GMT ( 5 pm ET) from Minneapolis Fed President Narayana Kocherlakota, who is one of my favorite central bankers for three reasons:

  1. He isn’t afraid to change his mind
  2. He was raised in Canada (I’m biased on that one)
  3. He seems to have a thing for technical analysis

Ok, that last one might be a bit of a stretch but his audience today is the Minnesota chapter of the Market Technicians Association so I take that as an implicit endorsement.

I expect comments similar to Saturday but you never know, maybe he will bust out some technical analysis on the size of the Fed’s balance sheet

:)

Gotta get short at trendline resistance!
