The market will be closely watching the US PPI data due out at 1230GMT for further clues as to the strength of the US economy and hence whether or not we are likely to see fed QE tapering sooner rather than later. The market is looking for a headline PPI reading of +0.5%, unchanged from the previous result and a core PPI reading of +0.2%, up from the +0.1% previously.
