More from the Fed’s Bullards crossing the wires

Nothing surprising at all, but crossing the wires now as he continues to speak to reporters.

  • Sees ‘clear improvement’ in labor markets
  • Causes for low inflation aren’t totally clear
  • Says considering QE’s future is a ‘data dependent process’
  • He is undecided on whether to back QE taper in September

  1. Causes for low inflation aren’t totally clear .Really ,doesn’t Bullard know that energy and food prices are left out of the inflation calculation picture in America. Also does he know the way the government calculates inflation for the COLA or cost of living adjustments has been change also so seniors get shortchanged. There is also the case that supermarkets packages keep getting smaller but at the same price or more, and the high price for gasoline. But if you are an illegal immigrant crossing the border from Mexico to San Diego in California the US government is paying to keep them in hotel rooms at taxpayers expense ? Probably not as the story is kept out of the main street news.I agree with Bullard that the inflation picture could get even worse,Meanwhile Ben is sending his surrogates to give his message before he makes a grand exit into the sunset before everything comes apart.

  2. More from the Fed’s Bullards crossing the wires .Sees ‘clear improvement’ in labor markets. ,I will add.
NBC NEWS: Businesses, Unions, Colleges all say employee hours being cut over Obamacare but WH says “no evidence”NBC News contacted around 20 small businesses and other entities for this report and found that employee hours are being cut to 29 hours because of Obamacare, despite the delay of the employer mandate. But the White House, NBC News reports, says that there is no systematic evidence that this is because of Obamacare and dismisses the report as anecdotal. http://therightscoop.com/nbc-news-businesses-unions-colleges-all-say-employee-hours-being-cut-over-obamcare-but-wh-says-no-evidence/
