New Zealand manufacturing PMI strong – recap

  • Business NZ manufacturing PMI for July: 59.5 (vs. 55.2 prior – the prior result was revised up from 54.7)
  • Compared with previous July results, the 2013 value was the highest since the survey began in 2002, and the third highest monthly result on record
  • All five seasonally adjusted main diffusion indices were in expansion for July
  • Expansion in all parts of the country

Eamonn Sheridan worked with Bankers Trust Australia for 13 years as a Spot foreign exchange dealer, trading across all major currencies and all time zones.
