An earthquake hit the prefecture near the nuclear disaster. The center of the quake was 20 km underground and no tsunami warning was issued.
A quake that size is fairly common in Japan but we’ll monitor for anything further. I wouldn’t attribute any of the recent decline in USD/JPY or EUR/CHF to the quake.
