Will we get a Nonfarm payroll employment report for September?

The September nonfarm payroll report is scheduled for release on Friday October 4th.

But with Congressional threats to shut down the US government, the release of government data grinds to a halt.

In the event of a shutdown, there will still be a September report, but it wouldn’t be released until a later date.
