Australian Industry Group Performance of Construction PMI for September is due at 2230GMT.
Prior was 43.7, which is still in decline, though the index has been generally improving over the past 3 months. Graph of past performance:
With both manufacturing and service PMIs improving strongly for September, it seems likely that we’ll see furhter improvement in this index today.
This data point does not usually have a large impact on the AUD, and with a partial holiday in Australia today (Sydney is on holiday) its likely the release will pass without too much effect.
