A Citigroup/YouGov report sees expectations of UK inflation falling further. In October pollsters said that they expected CPI at 3.2%.

The 5-10 year range survey showed a drop to 3.4% from 3.7% in November.

Another YouGov index has shown that UK consumer confidence has taken a dip for the first time in 12 months. Decembers read fell from 110.0 in Nov to 109.5 in Dec. Higher house prices have seen consumers feel better overall but that concerns are still high in personal economic situations. As if Mike needed another string in his bow
