I’ve just started on today’s Asian timezone wrap (yeah, I started on it early …)

I noted this, and thought I’d seek feedback:

  • Despite the continued tightness in China’s money markets the AUD had a quiet session, barely moving. You’d be excused for expecting weakness in the AUD stemming from China liquidity turmoil, so it would appear that what little interest there was in AUD today it was skewed to the buy side.

Shouldn’t it be lower with the China action today? Or not? Thoughts welcome,. as always.
