Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen is due to give her first semiannual testimony (Humphrey Hawkins testimony) on monetary policy on Tuesday, February 11.

The testimony consists of a prepared speech initially and then a Q&A (grilling).

Yellen begins giving her prepared speech at 10am (Eastern US time) … BUT …. I have heard her speech will be available an hour and half early (it will be published on the website of the federal reserve board at 8.30am Eastern US time). This is not the usual practice (though it isn’t all that unusual, either, its happened before).
