Russia’s energy minister has said that cooperation with major international oil and gas majors has not stopped despite the sanctions. What shows the sanctions up for what they are (not worth the paper they are written on) is that Russia and the EU are still in talks about a new south stream pipeline that will bypass Ukraine to deliver gas to southern Europe.
This is what it boils down to folks. Europe needs gas, Russia’s got gas. Not that you wise guys and girls thought differently anyway
