The Spanish central bank released their monthly report and are upbeat on the second quarter.

  • Q2 household spending likely expanded from Q1
  • Wage moderation continued in Q2
  • Labour market continues to show a positive trend

Spain also released their April PPI numbers which shot up to 0.9% from a revised 0.1% (0.2% prior) m/m. Year on year they fell though -0.4% from a revised -0.2% (+0.1% prior)
