It looks like there’s still some indecision in the market over the latest data. The S&P is flat at 1950 having been down around 3 points and up 4 so far.

The Dow is up 17 at 16835 and the Nasdaq is -2 at 4348.

The question for stocks is how much of the Q1 problems have run over into Q2. US data has been better overall but the March/April period was still inconsistent and the GDP number today may just be getting a few nerves on edge that Q2, although expected to be strong, may still have some Q1 follow through.

US bond yields are taking a bit of a hammering with 10’s -4bps at 2.54%
