The US dollar bulls hung their hats on the hope they could find a hawkish headline in the FOMC minutes and make it stick but there wasn’t much there. Now the US dollar is wilting and cable is looking to take advantage but busting through the recent highs. This is has been a tough zone of resistance over the past two days.
