One of the investment committee members at Japan’s huge GPIF fund is not having his contract renewed as the government goes looking for an “investment expert”, reports Reuters. Kimikazu Nomi’s contract expired on July 10th and they want to replace him with someone who has deep private sector experience in investing.

The Japanese government have been looking to change up the members of the committee who oversee the $1.3tn pension fund in an effort to boost profits at the fund.

So if you’re looking for a job then keep watching the GPIF website for the vacancy to be posted. Don’t call them just yet as this news is unofficial
