2014 has not been a good year so far for this economic index as it’s been sliding since Feb. EUR/USD falls 5 pips below 1.3600.
“A slight dent” is how the ZEW institute’s Clemens Fuest describes it, adding that the medium term outlook remains favourable.
Looking at the chart that “slight dent” is looking more and more like a crater.
