• Decision by the Nuclear Regulation Authority announced on Wednesday to give the green light to an atomic plant to resume operations
• First time that a Japanese nuclear facility has been certified as safe under the stricter post-accident standards
• Could allow the plant’s owner, Kyushu Electric Power, to restart the facility’s two idled reactors as early as this autumn
