The BOE have just released a statement saying that executive director Spencer Dale will be leaving the bank to take up the role as chief economist at BP.
Dale came off the MPC board in June as swapped roles with Andy Haldane who became the BOE’s chief economist while Dale became executive director of financial stability and risk. Dale has been at the BOE for 25 years and will join BP in October.
Other changes sees UBS’s current UK CEO, Mark Yallop join the PRA in December, as will Sandra Boss who will join from McKinsey & Co where she was a director in investment banking and risk. She’ll start in September.
