Two central bank announcements today.
First up, at 0130GMT we get the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA)’s Statement on Monetary Policy
The statement sets out the Bank’s assessment of current economic conditions, both domestic and international, along with the outlook for Australian inflation and output growth. A number of boxes on topics of special interest are also published. Its issued four times a year.
Later we get the BOJ announcement after their August monetary policy board meeting. There is no scheduled time for this announcement, it comes when they are good and ready. Expect it sometime in the 0230-0400GMT time window, though.
