JPMorgan and another, unnamed US bank were hacked last month, according to BBG.
The FBI is said to be probing whether the hack was in retaliation for US sanctions against Russia. Earlier this year Bloomberg had a dramatic story about how hackers infiltrated NASDAQ but that a multi-year investigation was never able to determine who was responsible.
It’s always been rumored that Russia has invested deeply and is far ahead of the US in its ability to hack into almost anywhere.
