- Average USD/JPY exchange rate expected by major Japanese electronics makers for fiscal year 2014 (which ends March 31 of 2015) is 100.68. It was 100.04 in the June survey.
- Large electronics firms forecast USD/JPY average at 101.08 in the first half of fiscal 2014, 100.30 in the second half
- Major automakers expect the dollar-yen rate to averageY100.87 for fiscal 2014 (100.07 in June) & forecast average 100.98 in the first half and 100.77 for the second half
