With the world and its Mum attributing a good part of the recent German economic decline to the lack of business with Russia after the sanctions, Herr Seibert is either:
- a) brave to fly in the face of adversity
- b) to be applauded for his sense of principle
- c) just plain misguided/stubborn
Unclear whether this is a personal view or that of the German govt/Merkel who he represents.
