While declining to comment on the Efe reports of banks failing the stress test they have issued an emailed statement saying;
“Any inferences drawn as to the final outcome of the exercise would be highly speculative until the results are final on the 26 October”
It’s their own fault really as they’ve been having meetings with banks over the methodology of the tests after they happened, and while not giving the exact result have given the nod or shake to the outcome.
