Results of the US Treasury’s $29 billion sale of 7-year notes:

  • Lowest yield since May
  • Bid to cover at 2.42 – lowest since November
  • Prior sale was at 2.235% with a 2.48 bid-to-cover

A touch on the soft side with a low bid to cover. The primary dealer share was also below average. Yesterday’s 5-year sale was weak as well and that could be ominous for real money demand in the post-QE era.
