A WSJ earlier in the week, citing sources, said a compromise at the OPEC meeting may include producers pledging better compliance with current quotas.

The statement doesn’t mention anything like that, although I’m not sure that’s a huge surprise because making that kind of statement is a bit self-depricating.

In any case, unless El-Badri makes that kind of pledge, oil prices could fall further.
