Obama held his year-end news conference and touched on a variety of subjects:
- USA will respond to Sony hack in time and manner we choose
- Hackers caused a lot of damage and we will respond
- Wants to fix provisions in US tax code that give incentives for corporate inversions
- Changes is going to come to Cuba “it has to”
- Obama sees very little impact on US oil prices if Keystone pipeline approved
- Keystone would mainly benefit Canada
- Will ultimately need to end Cuban embargo
Nothing surprising or market moving.
