One of the first orders of business for Greek Prime Minister Tsipras after yesterday’s election win will be on the defense front after an F-16 crashed during a training exercise in Spain.

Tragically, the fighter jet reported crashed into other planes on the runway, killing at least 10 people and injuring 13 more.

Greece has a (perhaps) surprisingly strong armed forces that includes more than 150 F-16s and 100 other fighter planes. The active army is about 80% the size of Germany and Italy’s and larger than Spain or Australia.
