A big, and very confident, call from McCrann … though I disagree with him … (bolding mine):

AFTER 18 months of keeping its official interest rate unchanged, the Reserve Bank will almost certainly cut the rate at its first meeting back for the year next Tuesday.

Like I said, I don’t think a February cut is gonna happen. With all the surprises from central banks recently (though the RBNZ and Federal Reserve didn’t jump on the bandwagon today) it is possible, I just think its not probable.
