I reported Coeure’s comments here but the gist was
- Greece can not act unilaterally
- Greece default would breach European rules
- Greece would be in default if it doesn’t pay
- Greece must continue reforms
- doesn’t see risk of Greek contagion
The Greek bailout/Grexit soap opera continues to fuel the rumour mill
